EVOHAUST DPF inserts are made from silicon carbide (SiC). Unlike the commonly used cordierite, silicon carbide (SiC) is a universal material. Its properties make it suitable for both long motorway journeys and city driving.

What is a DPF diesel particulate filter?
The DPF diesel particulate filter is mounted in the engine's exhaust system and is responsible for the most effective removal of particulate matter (PM 10; PM2.5) from engine exhaust gases.

Forced regeneration
The vehicle is connected to a diagnostic computer. Performed as a last resort.

The effectiveness of DPF regeneration varies and depends on, among other things, the degree of clogging and the method chosen. Regeneration of a diesel particulate filter is impossible in the case of mechanical damage. Purchasing an EVOHAUST diesel particulate filter is a reliable, safe solution ensuring long and trouble-free operation. EVOHAUST products are brand new and unused.
Driving style has an impact on the rate of DPF clogging. In the case of short trips and city driving (without longer motorway journeys), the automatic burning of soot is often ineffective.
DPF clogging manifests as unstable engine speed and loss of power, increased fuel consumption. Additionally, you may notice yellow warning lights and the engine entering limp mode.
